Theatre Lighting Seminar

The Annapolis Consortium of Theatres (ACT) will be offering a Technical Seminar in Practical Theatre Lighting, Saturday, May 15, from 10am to 4pm at the Children's Theatre of Annapolis,  1661 Bay Head Road, Bay Head Park, Annapolis, MD 21409. 

Participants will receive focused hands-on training on the theory and applications of live performance lighting. 

This seminar will offer hands-on theory, design, and production training led by experienced Theatre Technical Staff, and will and couple lighting theory with a mini-project where the attendees will:

• Design a lighting plan
• Develop lighting plots and cues
• Hang, gel, circuit, and focus lights
• Develop lighting cues
• Program and run a lighting console
